Patti Vogt Rowey serves as a retirement and market trends expert for the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies® and an advocate for Americans who are most at risk for achieving a financially secure retirement. Patti helps manage and execute all research initiatives, including the Annual Transamerica Retirement Survey.
Patti has more than 17 years of retirement services experience, specializing in market research covering a broad range of stakeholders, including retirement plan participants and sponsors, financial advisors and retirees. Patti is adept at analyzing and interpreting research and translating that information into actionable plans.
Patti volunteers for Los Angeles-based community organizations, including the Assistance League of Southern California, which provides social services to individuals with critical needs, and where she recently completed her term on the Board of Directors. She previously served as president and Board of Trustees member for the Parent Association of Echo Horizon School.
Patti joined Transamerica Retirement Services in 2011 and serves as senior consultant of strategic planning. In this capacity, she identifies and evaluates short- and long-term strategic growth initiatives, develops business plans and builds infrastructure to support the company’s high-growth strategy in the 401(k) market.
Prior to Transamerica, Patti spent 17 years at American Funds Distributors, a subsidiary of Capital Group Companies, serving as a market research analyst and project manager.
Patti earned her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of California, Irvine, and a certificate in marketing from UCLA Extension.
